WHAT IS OUR SUBCONSCIOUS?

By understanding our subconscious, we are able to understand what drives our BEHAVIOURS & EMOTIONS.

Our subconscious mind is the part of our brain that runs the show during most of our waking life. Have you ever noticed when you are driving that you can't remember how you got from A to B because you were thinking about something else? Well, that's the power of the subconscious mind. It can automatically do a complex task like driving --- all while problem solving, writing a mental shopping list and thinking about our plan for the day.

Simply put, the subconscious controls most of our emotional, behavioural and physical reactions.

For example if someone has a phobia of dogs. Even the smallest of dogs leaves them trembling with fear. They know it's irrational. They know that the dog is most probably scared of them, but for some reason they have a physical reaction that they can't control because somehow a subconscious belief has been created that dogs are dangerous. No matter how much their rational mind convinces them, their body reaction (directed by the subconscious mind) makes them sweat and sends stress signals to the body which then releases cortisol. It might even make them scream involuntarily if it tries to jump up on their leg, asking for a pat.

The person knows rationally that the dog won't do anything. It's too small to hurt them. But their subconscious is running the show and making them behave in an irrational way. Hence the sweating, yelling and sudden jumping in fear. Why is that happening?

At some stage in their life, this person has developed a phobia of dogs. Perhaps they were nipped by a dog as a baby? They may have witnessed someone being mauled by a dog as a small child or they could have seen a brutal fight between 2 dogs. There may even be a reason that they can't remember, like an adult telling them a scary story about dogs as a child or seeing something vicious about dogs on TV.

This is how most undesirable behaviours or emotional responses are created. They are rooted in unpleasant experiences and our mind stores that info and at all costs tells us and makes us avoid these situations in physical ways until we are able to reprogram them.

Our mind is powerful and it's number one job is to keep us safe here on earth.

Once you understand in a subconscious state, it is easy to address and release it. Because your subconscious controls your central nervous system, including nervous system regulation,

What does that have to do with RTT?
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a form of hypnotherapy which was developed in practice over 30 years by Marisa Peer. RTT goes further and deeper than other modalities of hypnotherapy to locate and pinpoint where in life we have established the limiting emotional, physical and life issues that stem from our subconscious beliefs and then remove them.

RTT allows us to delve deep into the subconscious and pull out the beliefs that have been limiting us, then to re-program your mind to release it and create thoughts and beliefs that you desire.
