Athena is able to lead a variety of different classes and courses for various levels of meditators. Having trained in various modalities of meditation and mindfulness practice, she is adept at explaining the mechanics of our brain and how meditation or mindfulness practices are able to assist with our modern and often stressful lives. Her classes can be either tailored to a corporate group with shorter mindfulness practices or otherwise she is happy to lead gropus of more experienced meditators. Athena believes that mindfulness is wonderful, but once people are able to integrate the heart centred, Buddhist practice of Metta or heart centred practice, true peace, stress relief and an ability to find stable, constant inner positive stability is possible. This, in turn enables humanity to cope with environmental and emotional stress in a more resilient way. During these particularly stressful times of COVID-19, Athena is available to lead zoom sessions with multiple stakeholders in order to enable those suffering from symptoms of isolation or stress a warm, connected and nourishing experience. If you cancel before 24 hours prior to a paid appointment, there is a $150 AUD cancellation fee. In extenuating circumstances, upon consideration, this fee will be waived.
